Right then, my creations for Debbi's latest kit. If you remember I received two CDs and a fabulous punch with which to play. I was really surprised at the versatility of the punch - could it really do ALL those things that it claimed to do? Errrrr yes, indeed it could!!!
I made quite a few cards with the kit; valentines, traditional, vintage, baby. I even made a notebook and a Layout of one of my favourite places to walk the dog, chill and take my camera that's on my doorstep at home Kirby Hall.
This card features one of the designs from the Classical Elegance CD printed out onto some vellum. I edged it with the punch, which is soooooo easy to use. The oval is cut from simple, white photocopy paper and a cameo added. The greeting is simply stamped onto a scalloped square which I inked around the edges to co-ordinate with the papers for an aged, vintage look. Amended to say that this card appeared (briefly) on QVC today during Debbi's show!
Using the punch, I simply cut two squares from red printed scraps from my box. I stuck some of the red script paper onto a chipboard heart using a gluestick, then when dry cut, sanded and inked the edges. The black strip is printed from the Classical Elegance CD. The ribbon is from my scraps jar. The sticker appeared from somewhere in my stash, but I can't remember where!
This card was so simple to put together. Using the background paper as a base on a white square card, I layered square punched white paper, another square of the black printed paper and a smaller punched square in decreasing sizes. The red script paper is stuck to a chipboard heart with gluestick. When dry it is cut, sanded and inked to co-ordinate. A small amount of red doodling and it's finished!
Again using the Classical Elegance CD. This background is printed in red this time onto some vellum. A punched circle is added to card and a small punched square is stuck to another piece of the backing vellum. This is then handcut to provide a border. One of Debbi's stamps in the centre before assembly makes this card very easy and simple.
I think that this is my favourite card here. I punched some pink printed vellum to provide a 3 sided rectangle which I stuck down the left hand side of the card. I printed one of Debbi's Love stamps onto some sparkly white cardstock (from my craft box) which I backed onto some gorgeous cranberry card (again from my craft box). I cut a strip of hessian ribbon as a backing and tied some natural twine around the base of the stamp in a love knot!
Ooh, don't forget that Debbi will be on QVC tomorrow (6th January) at 10am demonstrating some of the gorgeous new products that she has. There may even be a glimse or two of some of my creations there too!
