Kelmarsh Hall

Bank Holiday Monday was a girly day in this household. Will and Jacob went to Dovedale for the day on a walk which left me and my girl 'home alone'. She chose Kelmarsh Hall in Leicestershire (about 20 minutes away).

They have the most beautiful gardens and it was lovely to go round the Hall and get some of it's history too, especially as it's my local history!

The front door...

The back door...

And this little kiddie is carved from wood and set into the centre of a grass spiral...

Now for the poser who came with me...

Hi Rosie

You surely love to visit historic houses. My boys say I dragged them round so many houses and castles and it was all for MY benefit not for their entertainment!! Great photos, Kelmarsh Hall looks just about the right size to live in. Just think how many craft rooms you could have.
