Daring Cardmakers

This week's Daring Cardmakers dare is as follows:

Oriental Splendour

I would like you to make a card with an Oriental influence and the ‘Take Away’ I referred to is the twist in the tail.
When ever Oriental is mentioned most people, including myself immediately reach for Red and Black so I’m taking them away from you and removing them from the pallet of colours that you can use on your card.
So to recap:- I dare you to make an Oriental themed card which doesn’t use Red or Black.

The background papers were printed from a Debbi Moore CD that I received in my last DT kit. The Chinese proverb was found online.

It seems a lot of people ‘don’t’ do oriental but I have to say Ellen, you’ve done a marvellous job with your card.
The image is great but the tied sticks were definitely worth the time spent tying them. They really are the perfect finishing touch

Thanks for joining in with the DCM dare this week.
