DCM - Paper Pesto Sponsored Challenge

I made this using the Sketch over at Daring Card Makers.

I'm not a fan of decoupage, peel offs or the freebie papers you get with magazines. BUT as it's nearly spring and time for all things new, I've decided to be good and use up some of the stuff that I've got gathering dust. It's a waste to throw it away, even if it were to be recycled. I haven't clue which magazine the football or the beer papers came from as they're donkeys old! The peel offs (pet hate!) are ancient too. The decoupaged football (another dislike of mine - I don't have the patience to do this!) has clear glaze on the top layer.

P.S. My other pet hate is football!!! Basically this card is about everything I don't like then! LOL. Actually that's not quite true! I like the chipboard plaque, the inking and the glaze!

I love the idea of using up bits you don't particulary like, I think sometimes you can surprise yourself with the results - and this card has turned out great so it must be true!
