Allsorts Challenge

On the Allsorts Challenge Blog they want to see creations using Pink and Brown so when I found this picture of my daughter in her pink coat on the 'log' flume with my parents it seemed just perfect!

I just love my dad's face- you can almost hear him scream.  Then again, mum's not looking too impressed either and seems to be holding on to Freya for grim death!

Bazzill Swiss Dots card.
Felt leaves: Queen & Co.
Flowers; Prima.
Flower centres: Stash.
Heart: Opitec.
Journalling strips: computer generated.

Sneaky peeks revealed

A while back (25th April to be exact) I gave you a sneaky peek of a couple of cards I made but didn't reveal the whole piccie. The reason was that I was applying for a DT place over on 2 Sketches 4 You, but unfortunately I didn't make the grade :-( I'll just have to keep playing along with the sketches.

So, to reveal my entries....

They were both created from sketches by Kazan and Laura.

Materials:
White5 1/4" cards.
Papers (very old) from my stash and I really can't rememeber who they're by (sorry!)
Hessian ribbon: Opitec.
Tag: a pair of Jacob's jeans.
Ribbon: Ribbon mad.
Twine: Opitec.
Pins: Ebay.
Inkpad: Colorbox.
Rub on: Fancy Pants.

Inspirational Card Sketches / Indigo Mill

Using some more of the offcuts that I've got from the GORGEOUS mini kit from Indigo Mill, and following the ICSketch #7 I created this tonight. I have to admit that I ADORE this cream patterned cardstock from My Minds Eye Laundry Line. It's thick, beautifully printed and has a little bit of glitz added. What more could a girl ask for?

A closer view of the topper that I've made, it's very layered and dimensional.

Materials:
White 5"x7" card.
Papers: My Minds Eye, Laundry Line Coastal Comfort; Bazzill Bling. White scraps.
Hessian ribbon: Opitec.
Chipboard frame & accents: Americal Crafts, Thickers.
Blooms: RAK from ICSketches.
Stamp: Do Crafts, Whisper Words.
Glitter glue: Stickles.
