I'm an addict!!!!

I have an addiction which I need to publicly admit to.....

I don't drink, so it's not alcohol.
I don't smoke, so it's not cigarettes.
I am addicted to......... RADLEY bags!!!! So much so, that I thought I'd share my little addiction with you all.

I got them all out today as I started making a little book to record them in and sat them down (they are sooo patient and well behaved!), I photographed them and labelled my photos with the name of the bag (yes, I know it's VERY sad - whatever!!!! LOL)

Anyhoo.... My collection (addiction) currently stands at 17 items. Carousel is exclusive to John Lewis and was my Chrimbo pressie from Will (What a hunny!!!)

Introducing (in sad, addicted 40 year old woman, alphabetical order!)

This is my Christmas 2008 baby.... a new briefcase!

The collection (aka addiction) started with this one...

And before anyone says it.... yes, I know it's sad having a handbag/accessory fetish. It's even worse to photograph them and make a mini book out of them. It's my indulgence and makes me VERY easy to buy pressies for!!!

I can imagine in many years to come, I won't be the sad old woman surrounded by her cats. I'll be surrounded by my bags and the leather dog tags LOL.

So there! I've admitted my addiction. I have absolutely NO intention of giving it up and hope to grow my collection too.

Just worked out, I have spaces for 9 more photos in my little book I've just made!!! ;-)

I know it's early, but...

Look what Will bought me for my birthday!

I LURVE, LURVE, LURVE Radley bags and he treated, nay spoiled, me with this...

It arrived today and as I chose it, it wasn't a surprise so he says there's no real point wrapping it. Couldn't agree more!

Isn't it just gorgeous? It's about 15" wide by 10.5" tall.

I LOVE that man of mine! mwah! xxxx

Thank you

A HUGE thank you goes to Danny at Customer Services for Radley I have a bit of a thing for Radley handbags etc and was a bit disappointed with one of my bags where the stitching came undone and the lining started to fray.

I was bought a new Radley bag for Christmas 2006 and it developed the first of these faults within a few months, which I repaired myself. The fraying problem happened within about 6 months of having it. As it was bought from John Lewis in Peterborough, which is about 30 miles away, I took the lazy option and left it in the bottom of my wardrobe and used one of my other Radleys. Shame really as the bag is gorgeous!

Before Christmas I was given the number of Danny in Milton Keynes Customer Services. I spoke to him and we agreed that I could send my bag bag for them to have a look at and if it could be repaired then they'd have a go for me. I left it until after the Christmas post rush was over and posted it out to him last Thursday.

Imagine my surprise and total delight when I got home from work yesterday and found a brand new replacement bag, courtesy of Radley.

If you ever want a leather handbag of great quality (I have a few Radley bags and accessories all of which are great!) I cannot recommend this brand highly enough. Their customer services has proven to be second to none!

Thanks again Danny! Can't wait until my birthday on Saturday as I have two more bags waiting to be unwrapped!

Poorly sick!

Been a bit under the weather these last few days. Got the dreaded cold/feeling totally yuk virus. Started on Tuesday night with a mild sore throat. Got worse Wednesday, totally hitting me with the full blown symptoms within about half an hour on Wednesday night. Thursday was a struggle at work, bleary eyes and snotty nose, so I finished work early and went home to tuck up in bed.

Friday was just not going to happen. I took Freya to school wearning my pj's with a coat on top hoping no-one wanted to talk to me in the car park as I looked a right bloody site (puffy eyes, runny nose, no make-up - you get the picture). Came home, went straight back to bed and woke at lunchtime!! By 3pm I was ready for bed again but no, that wasn't happening either as I had to pick Freya up from school again. So we chilled for the rest of the afternoon and I chilled out for the rest of the evening. No energy - no being bothered!

So far I've gone through a whole loo roll blowing my nose and plenty of zinc and castor oil to stop it drying out and adding to the already Rudolph lookie likie that I'm sporting.

To cheer me up, Will ordered my birthday pressie today - I'm having a new Radley and bag for my collection (woo hoo!) and he booked the restaurant for my birthday dinner next week. {This} is where we're going. We've been there a few times before and the food has always been fantastic. So a table for 12 is in our name.

CAN NOT believe that my 40th is only a week away now. Certainly don't feel 40 I can tell you. I used to think that 40 was old until I approached it rapidly myself and now don't think that it is at all! LOL

I'll accept any healing vibes you've got going spare please! Need to be better for the first day of the rest of my life next Saturday, don't I?
