Indigo Mill - Notebook

I forgot to put this one up on my blog. I made it with 'The Beautiful Life' kit from Indigo Mill.

This will be a place to ground my thought and make my lists... if only I could remember to write them down!

Materials:
The Beautiful Life kit from Indigo Mill.
Buttons: Stash.

Nowt better than a sort out!

I am in the process of organising my lappy as I'm running VERY short on space. All my photos are therefore moving to my external hard drive.

While doing this, I found these....

a

They're all made from a wallpaper sample book that Elaine had - gorgeous to work with and so good for covering notebooks too.

I'd forgotten I'd made these AAAAAGESSSSSSS

These 4 were made with my favo Sticky backed plastic from Fablon!

Debbi Moore - Part 3

I seem to have really gotten into my mojo this time with the kit. As a result, you get to a third blog post (lucky you, eh? hahahaha!) of my projects for Debbi.

These papers are just so versatile to use, and perfect for a baby girl card. The gingham ribbon is from Debbi too. I used the punch and followed the easy instructions to make an oval on which to stamp a Baby definition.

This card uses the same papers, stamp and ribbon but this time I punched a strip of paper to go beind another piece of the printed script paper.

This is a 6"x6" scrapbook page using Debbi's papers, which I've inked the edges of. I cut the Fleur-de-Lys motif from one of the papers and mounted it onto foam pads for some depth. A little bit of inking, glittering, some doodling and some lace and voila! An Elizabethan page for a beautiful (although sadly partly ruined) Elizabethan Mansion.

This is an ordinary (boring) A5 spiral bound notebook. It's covered front and back with some of Debbi's papers from the Classical Elegance CD. To this I added a strip of inked cream cardstock and some hessian strip. I attached another of the designs on the CD which is printed on to some vellum to a circle of chipboard. The addition of a large paper bloom and a circle of the background paper which is attached with a gem centred brad and a little tag. One simple book project which becomes something very different with a little bit of time and some lovely products. This book was featured during the stamping section of Debbi's show on QVC yesterday.

Hayley's Notebook

This is what I made for Hayley... Just because she's a lovely, brave young lady who through her blog I'm sure has made a change to so many people's lives. I know she's made me count my own blessings!

And her card to go with it (how co-ordinated is that?! LOL

Don't forget to pop over to Hayley's blog, sponsor her for her Race of Life and then come back and leave me a comment on my other post then you may just be the lucky (or unlucky, depending on which way you look at it) recipient of a notebook of you own!

Ellie Wiseman Trust / Bubbly Funk Auction

As part of my contribution towards the Bubbly Funk auction to raise money for Ellie I made this for Janice who won the bidding. Thanks Janice, you are a honey! mwah! xxx

Enclosed are pages for her to put her CDs into to keep them safe and scratch free.

The papers used are all DCWV from Craft-ED (contact me for information on how to get your hands on these lovelies!). The blooms are from Dunelm, Bubbly Funk and Prima. Ribbons were from Ribbon Mad. The gem and the pearl circle in the flower are from wherever! Ink is Cat's Eye Chalk Ink

Notebooks for Christmas

Freya wanted a notebook for her teacher as a Christmas present. She actually has 2 teachers as her teacher, Lucy, is also the Deputy Head so Georgina stands in to teach them one day a week. She has a lovely teaching assistant in class, Jackie, so one notebook became 3 to make! Good job I love making them, eh?

All papers are DCWV. The chipboard birdie and flowers are Bubbly Funk. Alpha Chipboard are BasicGrey which I've inked, shadowed and then UTEE'd for depth. Die Cuts lettering is Sizzix Curlie Girlie. Flowers are Primas, brads from stash.

There's nothing like a hint, is there?!

As I'd made my boss, Lea, a notebook, her 14 year old son decided to tell me his favourite colours for if he had one of his own! So, yes Lewis, I've taken the hint and have made you your own book ;-)

The papers were PaperMania overlayed with a transparency from Craft Obsessions that I got ages ago. The chipboard letters were from a Bubbly Funk kit. The pockets inside and the tags were from Bazzil and the stamps were from Stamps Away

Lea's Notebook

My boss is one for making lists of things to do and as it's her birthday coming up, I thought I'd make her a book to keep them all in.

Hope she doesn't visit my blog before her birthday now! Just got to make the matching card.

Couple of new bits and pieces

I absolutely ADORE my new Cuttle Bug embossing folders that I bought recently and have worked out that if you use the adaptor on your original Sizzix machine, you don't need to buy the Cuttle Bug, giving you more money to buy lush stash with - YAY!

The topper of wedding bells was given to me by my mum, so I don't know where they came from, sorry! I embossed the lilac paper and the white card with the D'vine Swirls folder. Matted the lilac onto some lovely irridescent card that I've got. The stamps are Rhonna Farrer (another current fave of mine!) The 'Best Wishes' stamp is from Penny Black.

The diary I've altered for a friend of Jacob and Freya's that they met on holiday in July last year and have kept in touch with ever since. Cara will be 13 on 12th August, so this will be winging it's way down to Cornwall for her birthday ready to be used when she goes back to school.

The diary itself came from The Work to which I've added tied ribbons to the spirals, silver ribbon and some felt flowers - simple but effective!
