Rosie-Dee's Challenge

I set the challenge this week over on Rosie-Dee's Challenge Blog to celebrate the ladies in your life. My mum is such a special part of my life and that of my children. A lifetime would never be long enough to repay the kindness and love that she has shown and continues to show us all. My celebratory card is going to my mum this Mothers' Day.

Unlike me, mum doesn't DO ribbon so I've been very well behaved and (with great difficulty) left it off!

Materials:
7"x5" white card.
Papers: BasicGrey Urban Prairie.
Flowers: Prima.
Brad: Stash.
Lettering: American Crafts.
Thread: Leather Like Cord from Opitec.

Your card is stunning Rosie! As I mentioned on the challenge blog - I love the variety of elements you have used, the cardboard being my favorite. Your stitching ads a nice touch too! :)

This is very unusual Rosie, I love it. Love the addition of the red/dark pink strip at the bottom too, colour combo is perfect!! XX

Not sure where to put my first attempt at one of your challenges. This one is for the week 23, 21/2/9. If it shouldn't be here, just take it out lovely. Thanks. XX
