Passion for Promarkers

This is the first time that I've dared to join in with the Passion for Promarkers challenge blog. This week (week 15) the theme is Girly & Glittery.

As you can see... I'm not too good at choosing only a few colours LOL!

I'm getting used to using my Promarkers and have to say that I enjoy using them. Colouring is soooooo theraputic! LOL.

It's obviously girlie because it's pink and it's glittery as the cardstock is pearlescent, the scalloped edge is from glittered cardstock and the heart swirls and tails are coloured using a glitter pen.

Did I pass my first ever challenge on Passion for Promarkers do you think?

Materials:
White pearlescent 6"x6" cardstock.
Pink backing paper: BasicGrey.
Digi stamp: Lily-Boo's Boutique.
Crown & sentiment: Dovecraft stamp.
Happy Birthday stamp: Penny Black.
Inkpad: Stazon.
Ribbon & brads: Stash.
Flowers: Prima.
Glitter pen: Sakura.

DCM - Getting Corrugated

On DCM this week it was Jo's turn to set the dare. She came up with this....

I seem to have developed a little bit of a fixation with old cardboard boxes....! My dare this week is to use some corrugated card on your card - it could be corrugated craft card or an old box etc. taken to pieces :) You could make the card blank from it or die cut shapes etc...

I came up with this....

The flowers were cut two at a time (ribbed sides together) with a Sizzix die on my Big Shot and them painted with silver, copper and gold metallic acrylic paints. The plant pot is actually a Sizzix parcel, minus the bow. The stems are spiralled and flattened wire. Greeting was a Penny Black stamp and black Stazon and the edges of the card lightly inked with a light brown.

Di Hickman - October Sketch #3

I've really missed doing my dares recently and never seem to get the time to chill and create, so I'm making an extra special point of doing them. So, saying that I'm on catch up now!

This dare from Di Hickman was from October 17th, so I'm not too late with it. I am later with other dares, I can assure you! LOL)

I wanted to do something with different colours than I would normall use so went for the beige and orange look. The pp is from The English Paper Company with the beige squares from Bazzil cardstock. The cream blooms was from Bubbly Funk and the orange cut with my Sizzix die and then inked up. The small cream is a Prima and was finished with a button and ribbon from stash. The photo corner was from All My Memories. Stamp from Penny Black. I doodled around the edge of the white card with black pen to mirror the effect on the paper.

Di Hickman - October Sketch #2

Still playing catch up! LOL.

Again the orange and yellow papers were from the lovely Kathy (thanks again honey!) The yellow flower was from Sarah's Cards and the smaller orange was from Prima. Brad and eyelets from stash as was the spotty vellum. The stamp Penny Black.
