Indigo Mill - Sneaky Peek - January kit

For those that remember, Indigo Mill were kind enough to sponsor our Rosie-Dee's challenge blog a few weeks back.

I'm so excited that Steph has asked to design for her using the January Kit for Indigo Mill.

Steph is changing the direction of her shop from January and sent me THE most gorgeous set of papers and stash to play with.


So far I've made 3 LOs and a couple of cards and I still have papers etc left over to play with some more. But for now, here's a little peek at some of the work that I've done...

Debbi Moore - Christmas kit

I got an email from Debbi last Thursday inviting me to be a designer in her new magazine that she's launching!

The downside is that I had to send a photo (:-o) to appear in the mag along with a little bit of a bio on myself.

And then the crunch - if she sends me a Christmas kit out in that day's post, can I do 5/6 projects and get it back to her within about 5 days?????? Well... me being me said 'of course I can as it's a Bank Holiday coming up!' And what better excuse than I HAVE to craft as I have a deadline to meet, sorry Will!!!!!

The box of goodies duly arrives, and OH MY WORD!!! What a wonderful box of goodies there was too! I couldn't wait to get my grubby little mitts in there and start.

I managed to surpass the 5/6 requirement and posted a package of 15 goodies to Debbi yesterday (gawd help those posties if they lose them!). They're photographed and sitting on my memory card in my camera but hopefully I'll get a chance later to upload them.

I'm excited now!

You know when you do something and don't hear anything for a while, so forget all about it because you think you've been overlooked? Well.....

I applied to be on the Debbi Moore Design Team way back in November 2007 and didn't hear anything until February this year when I was sent an envelope which contained my cards that I had submitted to them. Oh well! I thought, never mind, there is someone far more talented than I am that has been chosen to design for them. At least they had the courtesy to return my cards to me.

Then I read the letter!!!! In black and white, printed on their letterhead it firmly states that they want me to design some cards for them! How cool is that?!

I signed the enclosed confidentiality agreement as I'll be privy to fabulous, new, unreleased, products and returned it but heard no more.

Until....... dah! dah! daaaaaah!!!

Today in my inbox there was a lovely email from Debbi apologising for the delay and re-confirming her offer for me to be one of her Card Designers. MY CARDS ARE GONNA BE ON TELLY! ;-) LMFAO!!!! My first kit of luscious goodies will be winging their way to me in the next day or so.....

I can't wait to get them and start playing. Watch this space to see what I create.

Ooh, just remembered....

I gave you a sneaky peek in May but didn't share the finished article with you, did I? Silly me!

Well the sneaky peek was for the Bubbly Funk May mini book kit.

I received some gorgeous black chipboard and papers to work with, and being me I just had to scrap Freya, didn't I? Well this is what I made...

You may remember I shared a card {here} with you just before Christmas last year as Di Hickman was having a call for card sketch team members.

Well to update you all - I didn't make the team! :-(

BUT...

I was offered a guest team slot for February!!! YAY ;-)

Can't wait until I get my first sketch emailed over to see what I can make of it.
