And the tears flowed....

Jacob's off to Paris early in the morning on a residential with school for the next 5 days. He'll be back home again on Friday teatime. I've just said goodnight to him and given him the biggest hug that I could find from within. I cried, I tried not to, really I did, but I just couldn't help it!!!

The mother in me wishes him the best time EVER! The mother in me worries about him in another country without me there to keep him safe and out of harms way. The mother in me is jealous that the little bugger is going to the Palace of Versailles, the Eiffel Tower, a boat tour down the River Sienne, the Stadt de France, and a day in Disneyland Paris, to mention just a few of his planned activities !!! Not to mention that we're paying for it!

These next days are going to fly for him and his mates but every night I'll go to bed wishing him lots of love and wishing I could kiss and hug him and tell him I love him. Every morning I'll wake to find his bed empty, his room unoccupied!

Gonna miss him loads; his bickering with Freya and me telling them both off for not getting along; his cheeky ways and comments; his amazing personality and wonderfully warm, caring heart.

So to Jacob... stays safe my sweetheart, have a wonderful time, I love you so, so much!! See you on Friday with all the tales of your wonderful trip and all the pictures you'll take to share with your dad, Freya and me.

Awe Sending you great BIG ((hugs)) Rosie. I feel so sad for you. Its awful if its the 1st time for you all.

Janice is right... KEEP BUSY girl.

I found the worst thing is morning & night shutting & opening their curtains. Be BRAVE.

If one thing I've learnt from all this its that everyone appreciates each other afterwards. Well......... for a few days perhaps. ;-)

Good Luck for the week Rosie.xx
