I've had a catch up with Kathy's fab sketches and just as I get up to date, does the little minx not go and add another one for me to do!  But not today Zurg!  It's on my list of things to do another day.

Kathy's Waffle Sketch 2009 #17; Layer it up

Not quite sure where my time goes to recently.  Working full time.  Family chef.  School meetings.  Son's taxi.  Not to mention that I've been feeling totally pants these last few weeks and subsequently VERY tired.

It seems ages ago that I've done one of Kathy's fab sketches, so I've given myself a kick up the bum and have created a card.

Everything here is recycled or old.  From the backing paper to the corrugated card to the circular gift tag to the scraps of cardstock punched into flowers and shaped.  Not to mention the odd buttons that I've used.

Kathy's Waffle Sketch this week made me think a little bit on what I wanted to do. I rotated the sketch and came up with this...


I decided to use one of the gorgeous ranges of papers from Kirsty Wiseman's Patti Picklicious CD for this card. This range is called Mojito. It's so bright and funky, I love it!

Materials:
White 8 1/2" x 4" White card.
Papers: Kirsty Wiseman's Patti Picklicious 'Mojito'
Accents: Kirsty Wiseman's Patti's Pretties.
Flowers: Prima.
Inkpad: Whispers.
Felt ric-rac: Stash.

Kathy's sketch 2009 #9; A little bit of lace

Kathy's latest sketch is all about a central accent with a little bit of lace. I used up all old stash to make my card this week.

White 5 1/4" square card.
