Rosie D's Challenge No. 61 - Sponsored by Digi Sparkle

We have a new, fab challenge over on Rosie D's this week. As it's Christmas, we've decided to let you choose what you want to create (aren't we nice!) One lucky participant this time will have the chance to be the winner of unlimited access for a month to our sponsor, DigiSparkle's shop! Wow - fantastic or what?!

I've chosen the Tea for Two range from the shop as it's always nice to catch up with friends and as I'm off work for two weeks, it's the perfect time to do so; we all lead such busy lives that it's nice to unwind for a time.

So, with that in mind, if you live locally to me....

Snow way it's nearly Christmas!

Woah! Have you seen the white stuff outside?!  I was so excited as I love the snow!  Spending time outdoors with the kids in the snow is the ultimate chill factor!

It was my last day at work today before Christmas and as Jacob had finished school yesterday he was coming into the office with me.  The snow also meant that Freya had her final day off too so they both came with me (not to work of course, to build a snow man in the car park outside!)  It's a shame I never got any photos of it as it was HUGE - the car park was empty apart from half a dozen cars as the other companies locally had closed for the day (very sensible indeed; Will's 10 minute journey to work took him an hour this morning and my short journey took half an hour too - but we all arrived safely, so what the heck!)

We were back home again by not much after 12.30pm followed by a quick lunch, change of lens on my camera and outside we went.  I'm loving my new lens that I bought from Kirsty (though I have to focus manually as my new camera doesn't have a built in motor into the camera but uses lenses with Silent Wave Motors - hence the slight blurring of all my piccies - I'll get better with it hopefully!

I love these shots....

My house.... looks just like a Christmas card!

My totally handsome son...

Catch this one brother!

Nice shot!

It's ok mum, I didn't eat the yellow snow!

Anyone for spam?

No?!  Not me either, but unfortunately there are some sites out there trying to sell some rather dubious chemical concoctions who are having a field day leaving me comments which I cannot, for the life of me, understand!  I don't speak or understand mandarin Chinese which are most of the weird comments!

I don't know why I've suddenly become their target, all I CAN say is that "thank goodness I have comment moderation" on my blog.  I don't use word verfication (as personally, I don't like it), preferring instead to moderate my comments, thereby controlling who can and cannot leave comments - I was previously 'stalked' by a very nasty lady indeed and had to block many an evil comment from her!

If you don't have moderation on your blogs, please enable it.  It's not only Chinese comments that I'm receiving; there are others equally as dubious in their offers of medication.  You can guess their offers I'm sure, but siffice to say, last time I looked I had no 'manhood' for which to increase in size or stamina courtesy of a little blue pill! HAHA!

Spam, spam go away... You're not welcome on my blog and I don't want to play!
