Sneaky peeks revealed

A while back (25th April to be exact) I gave you a sneaky peek of a couple of cards I made but didn't reveal the whole piccie. The reason was that I was applying for a DT place over on 2 Sketches 4 You, but unfortunately I didn't make the grade :-( I'll just have to keep playing along with the sketches.

So, to reveal my entries....

They were both created from sketches by Kazan and Laura.

Materials:
White5 1/4" cards.
Papers (very old) from my stash and I really can't rememeber who they're by (sorry!)
Hessian ribbon: Opitec.
Tag: a pair of Jacob's jeans.
Ribbon: Ribbon mad.
Twine: Opitec.
Pins: Ebay.
Inkpad: Colorbox.
Rub on: Fancy Pants.

Materials:
Red A5 card.
Papers: Kirsty Wiseman's Patti Picklicious CD - Mojito.
Ribbon: John Lewis.
Alphas: American Crafts.
Fineline pen: Stabilo.

2 Sketches 4 You - bonus sketch

Ewonne set the bonus sketch over on 2 Sketches for You. I like the simplicity of this sketch so decided to use it as a frame with a bit of doodling.

Materials:
White 5 1/4" square card.
Chipboard frame & circle: I think it's from Sassafras but as the packaging is no more, I can't be sure.
Blooms: Dunelm & Aunty Sarah's.
Ribbon: Stash.
Pins: Ebay.
Fine line brown pen: Stabilo.
Letter stickers: Making Memories.

Laura's sketch 24

Laura set the sketch over on 2 Sketches 4 You, and it's a lovely sketch too.

I made a square card for my take on the sketch but changed the orientation of the backing strips by 90 degrees.

Materials:
White 5 1/4" square card.
Papers: BasicGrey Urban Prairie.
Bloom: Dunelm.
Chipboard sentiment: WRMK.

2 Sketches 4 You

Another card I've made in a grungy theme is for 2 Sketches 4 You this week. Jacob is off tobogganing for a friend's birthday party on Sunday (I know, he should be spending it here with me on Mothers' Day but I'll have another one next year and he'll have a fantastic time).

This was originally scheduled for 5th February but had to be postponed due to the extreme weather conditions with all the snow we had. As they're all expected to get a (little) dirty on Sunday and spare clothes are on the list for all the boys to take I just had to use a dirty, grungy looking card for Daniel. Not only that, 13 is a wierd age for boys cards haha!

Materials:
5 1/4" square white card.
Papers: BasicGrey Ambrosia.
Rub ons: BasicGrey Olio Archaic.
Star sticker: BasicGrey Element Stickers Boxer.
Inkpad: Dew Drop Brilliance.
